Adsorption dehumidifiers - worth knowing

Here you can find out more about adsorption dehumidifiers and how they work, as well as areas of application and the available dehumidifier models.
How does an adsorption dehumidifier or an adsorption dryer work? An adsorption dehumidifier extracts the water from the air flowing through it. This is done using a specially coated rotor that adsorbs water molecules from the air flowing through. When the coating of the rotor is saturated, it swings into an area in which heated air picks up the water from the rotor again. The coating of the rotor can then adsorb water again. The warm, water-enriched air is now guided out of the air dehumidification device, the dehumidification system or the building via air outlet ducts. Adsorption dehumidifiers work efficiently even at very low temperatures.
Adsorption dehumidifiers from KlimaLex are ideal when low temperatures and low humidity are required.

The adsorption dehumidifiers are therefore ideal for use in the following areas:

  • Cold stores
  • Freezer stores
  • Slaughterhouses
  • Ice rinks
  • Power plants
  • Museums
  • Wind turbines
  • Hydroelectric power stations
  • Waterworks
  • Pump stations
  • Oil platforms
  • Ships and boats
  • Storage rooms
  • Dry storage areas
  • Ammunition depots
  • Weapons depots
  • Silos
  • Test laboratories
  • Laundries
