Replacement tubes and foils for insect traps
Determination of a replacement tube or foil from our rangeBoth a replacement tube and a replacement film should ensure the continued use of the corresponding insect trap from our range. Because our traps use fluorescent tubes that shine in the UV spectrum and therefore attract harmful insects. The selected UV spectrum is not harmful to the human eye, but nonetheless a tube or film from our range should only be used in the respective insect trap, in the house. The latter requirement is due to the fact that our UV lamps outdoors could attract not only harmful but also useful insects.

Properties of our products
A replacement film is sold in a pack containing 10 pieces. A replacement tube, however, can be bought individually. It is important to make sure that the selected tube fits the respective insect trap, because each replacement is only intended for a specific type of trap. Different are the external shape, which can resemble a rod, a tire or a double tube, as well as the performance. The power of the tubes vary between 9 and 40 watts, so that there is exactly the right replacement for every case from our range. A visit to our online shop is therefore definitely worthwhile.

- The use of our insect traps is only permitted in closed rooms. The insect killers must not be used outdoors because non-selective insect catchers (devices with UV light as an attractant) not only catch pests, but also useful and protected insects and threaten biodiversity.
Luring, catching and killing specially protected animals with artificial light sources or electronic devices, e.g. with our electric insect killers is prohibited by law!
- The included special lamps only serve to attract insects in connection with the insect traps mentioned and are neither suitable for room lighting in the home nor intended for use in other applications.
