Important Notes on Installation & Accessories
Control & Cold Air Protection: The wall-mounted fan is delivered without an integrated switch/controller. For demand-based adjustment of the airflow performance, please select a suitable stepless speed controller or step transformer from our accessory range. To prevent cold air ingress when the fan is switched off, we recommend pairing it with a matching external louver shutter on the outer wall face. All electrical wiring and connections must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable VDE standards and electrical safety regulations.
Important Electrical & Connection Notice (T Models)
Models belonging to the T series are three-phase AC fans (400 V / 50/60 Hz). A suitable three-phase mains supply is required for operation; the unit does not include a standard 230 V plug. Hardwired electrical connection must be carried out strictly by a qualified electrician.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about the A-E Series
Yes. Thanks to its IP54 protection rating, the motor is protected against harmful dust deposits and splashing water from all directions. The robust powder coating of the housing provides high weather resistance for wall installations.
Models in the A-E series are speed-controllable. Regulation can be achieved either via a stepless electronic speed controller or via a 5-step transformer. Note that controllers are not included in the standard scope of delivery.
Models with the suffix "M" operate on 230 V single-phase AC current, whereas models with the suffix "T" are designed for a 400 V three-phase AC connection (heavy current).
How is the model name structured? (Nomenclature Explanation)
The designation of the CasaFan A-E wall-mounted extractor fans follows a clear structure that allows you to read off the core technical characteristics directly:
A-E: Product series of axial wall-mounted extractor fans with a square inlet nozzle wall plate.
First number (e.g. 25, 30, 40, 50, 56, 63): Nominal/blade diameter of the impeller in centimeters (cm).
Number after the slash (/2, /4, or /6): Number of motor poles:
Letter at the end (M or T): Electrical supply type:
M (Monofase): 230 V / 50 Hz single-phase AC.
T (Trifase): 230 / 400 V ~ 50 Hz three-phase AC (heavy current).
