Your Benefits with the Comedes Demecto 30

High dehumidification capacity

With up to 25 litres of dehumidification capacity per 24 hours, the Demecto 30 is suitable for reducing excess humidity in larger rooms and for a variety of dehumidification tasks.

Automatic humidity control

Set your desired target humidity. The integrated hygrostat measures the room humidity and controls dehumidification according to the selected setting.

R290 refrigerant

The Demecto 30 uses the natural refrigerant R290 (propane). According to the manufacturer, the refrigerant charge is 75 g.

Reduce high humidity and the risk of mould

Persistently high humidity can promote condensation and moisture problems. The Comedes Demecto 30 removes excess moisture from the room air and can thereby help to reduce the conditions for moisture-related problems. Targeted dehumidification can be particularly useful where humidity is persistently high.

Support for drying laundry

Drying laundry releases additional moisture into the room air. The Demecto 30 can absorb this moisture and thus helps laundry dry indoors.

Practical protective functions

An automatic defrost function, tank-full detection and overflow protection ensure convenient operation. When the water tank is full, dehumidification stops automatically.

Everyday Operation & Use

The control panel lets you select the desired dehumidification mode and set the 24-hour timer. The condensate is collected in the integrated 6.5-litre water tank. When the tank is full, the unit stops automatically.

Tip for extended operation:

If the unit is to run for longer periods, the condensate can be drained continuously via the hose connection. If there is no sufficient downward slope to the drain, a suitable condensate pump can be used.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Comedes Demecto 30

What room size is the Demecto 30 suitable for?

The manufacturer specifies a maximum room size for dehumidification of 50 m² at 2.3 m ceiling height. For keeping rooms dry, up to 100 m² at 2.3 m ceiling height is stated. The actual capacity required may depend on factors such as temperature, humidity, ceiling height and moisture load.

How much water can the Demecto 30 extract per day?

The Demecto 30 achieves a dehumidification capacity of up to 25 litres per 24 hours at 30 °C and 80 % relative humidity. The actual capacity depends on the respective room and ambient conditions.

How does the automatic hygrostat work?

You select the desired target humidity. The integrated hygrostat measures the room humidity and controls dehumidification according to the selected setting.

Can the condensate be drained continuously?

Yes. The Demecto 30 has a connection for continuous condensate drainage. With a suitable setup, the water can be drained via a hose. If there is no sufficient downward slope to the drain, a suitable condensate pump may be required.

Above 38°C, the overheating protection may automatically switch off the unit. The unit is not approved for operation outside the temperature range.
  • ENG-6 In order for the dehumidifier to dehumidify optimally, it warms the air. Therefore, the room temperature may rise by 1-2 degrees. This is quite normal and increases the efficiency of the unit.
  • When the water tank is full, the machine switches off automatically.
