Schwille IsarCheck: radon meter for measuring radon concentration in indoor air
The Schwille IsarCheck (100-825) is a radon meter for measuring the radon concentration in homes and basements. It is placed, for example, in a central spot in the basement and starts measuring immediately after it is connected to the mains.
For a meaningful, cumulative reading, the meter should stay in the same place for several hours. In Germany, the Radiation Protection Act sets a reference level of 300 Bq/m³ as an annual average for occupied rooms. The meter shows how high the radon concentration is at its location.
