About this operating instructions
Before using the CasaFan light kit for ceiling fan, read the operating instructions carefully. Keep the operating instructions within reach. Never pass the light kit onto another person without the operating instructions.
Explanation of symbols:
WARNING: Electric voltage! Warns you of immediate danger to life.
ATTENTION Indicates risks to health and possible damage to property.
SAFETY ADVICES
- Installation work and work on the electrical connection may only be carried out by an approved electrician. The applicable installation regulations must be observed.
- Switch off the mains or respectively the connection lead before doing any works! Otherwise there is danger to life!
- Parts of the light kit become warm during use. Keep a safe distance from flammable materials. Under no circumstances should the luminaire be covered.
- The light kit may not be modified or converted.
- Never look directly into the light of the luminaire.
- This luminaire can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understands the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the luminaire. Children shall not clean the luminaire without supervision.
- Only clean the luminaire with a dry, soft cloth when it is switched off from the power supply. Do not use water or cleaning agents!
- In case of a malfunction you may not operate the luminaire further. A malfunction exists when visible damages appear (e.g. flickering light, escaping smoke or burning smell).
- Contact the manufacturer or an authorized dealer in case of damage. Repairs may only be carried out by qualified electricians.
- Dispose of packaging material and foils in an environmentally friendly manner and inaccessible to children. Children can get caught in it while playing and suffocate.
USE AS DIRECTED
ATTENTION: Follow all assembly instructions! Improper assembly of the ceiling fan and light kit can lead to serious injury.
The luminaire serves exclusively lighting purposes and may:
- only be operated when firmly mounted on a CasaFan ceiling fan ECO REVOLUTION.
- only be operated with the rated voltage specified on the rating label.
- only be operated when fully assembled.
DISASSEMBLY / CHANGE LED MODULE
WARNING: Danger of electric shock! Switch off the lighting and disconnect it from the power supply by removing the fuse.
The sequence is identical to that described in the “Installation” section, but in reverse order.
- The LED module contains built-in lamps. If the lamp fails, the entire LED module must be replaced. Never disassemble the LED module.
- Only use original parts when replacing!
