The ceiling fan as a lighting fixture

When installing a fan on the ceiling, keep in mind that it is placed in a central location so that it can ventilate the whole room well. So you can get relief on warm days, no matter where you are in the room. On the other hand, it is of course also possible to concentrate the air of the fan in a special place, such as over the sofa or on the dining table. If you want to lay additional cables over the plaster, it is advisable to install the fan where the power outlet for the lamp is provided on the ceiling. Choosing a combination of ceiling fan and lighting is also possible. With a single power connection and a device suspended from the ceiling, lighting and ventilation problems can be solved. The fan can be hung on a pipe from the ceiling, so you can also make the height flexible. For example, the lighting and fan can be lowered over the dining table. On the other hand, if the combination is installed centrally in the room, you can hang the fan and the lamp higher, so that you can easily walk underneath it. In some rooms, the ceiling is particularly low. In such a case you can choose a fan with flat rotors, which can be mounted close to the ceiling. Thus fan and light do not visually push the room. For very high ceilings, on the other hand, it is advisable to hang the fan with lamp from a pole as low as possible into the room, so that the cool air can be felt everywhere.
