B 280 Humidifier with Wireless Hygrostat
This version additionally includes an external wireless hygrostat for precise humidity measurement.
The Brune B 280 is a powerful electronic evaporative humidifier for medium-sized rooms. Thanks to its proven cold evaporation principle, the unit operates hygienically and without limescale deposits.
With integrated humidity sensors, the B 280 regulates itself automatically in auto mode and reliably maintains a constant, comfortable indoor humidity level.
Wireless Hygrostat / Wireless Sensor – External Humidity Measurement
The wireless hygrostat measures the humidity at a freely selectable position in the room – not directly at the unit.
This technology is particularly practical, as humidity can be distributed unevenly throughout a room. An external sensor therefore measures the actual room air where it truly matters.

- Danger: risk of fatal electric shock. Touching live parts of the power supply is immediately life-threatening.
- Not for persons (including children) with reduced abilities or lack of experience; supervise children, keep packaging and batteries away from children (suffocation hazard).
- Warning: health risk from inadequate cleaning. Replace the evaporator filter after three months at the latest; observe the cleaning, filter and water change intervals.
- Warning: over-humidification. Do not exceed 50–60 % humidity in living spaces (mould risk); people with asthma or respiratory conditions should consult a doctor first.
- Optional UV lamp: contains mercury, handle with care. UV light irritates eyes and skin; unplug before replacing the lamp; avoid looking directly into the UV light.
