Master B 5 EPB Electric Heater – 5 kW Heating Power, 400 Volt

The Master B 5 EPB electric heater is a robust, portable electric fan heater with adjustable heating power of 2.5 or 5 kW. It is ideal for temporary heating in workshops, construction sites, storage areas and commercial premises. With an airflow capacity of 510 m³/h, the unit efficiently distributes warm air throughout the room.

Important electrical connection information: The Master B 5 EPB requires a 400 V three-phase power supply (16 A, 5-pin). The unit cannot be operated using a standard 230 V household socket. Before purchasing, please ensure that a suitable electrical connection is available at the intended location.

Powerful Electric Heating for Versatile Applications

The Master B 5 EPB offers two selectable heating outputs of 2.5 and 5 kW, as well as a separate fan-only mode without heating. The integrated room thermostat allows the desired temperature to be adjusted between 5 and 35 °C.

As heat is generated electrically, no combustion exhaust gases are produced during operation. This makes the fan heater particularly suitable for applications requiring a portable, emission-free heat source at the point of use.

Key Benefits of the Master B 5 EPB

  • Up to 5 kW heating power: Two heating settings of 2.5 and 5 kW for flexible heating performance.
  • 400 V three-phase operation: Requires a suitable 16 A, 5-pin electrical connection.
  • High airflow capacity: 510 m³/h for effective distribution of warm air.
  • Integrated room thermostat: Adjustable temperature range from 5 to 35 °C.
  • Separate fan-only mode: Air circulation without activating the heating elements.
  • Robust construction: Durable steel housing designed for portable commercial use.
  • Overheating protection: Equipped with an overheat thermostat and thermal motor protection.
  • Exhaust-free heating: No open flames or combustion exhaust gases during operation.

Ideal for Workshops, Construction Sites and Commercial Use

Thanks to its compact design and weight of just 6.4 kg, the Master B 5 EPB can easily be moved between different locations. Typical applications include workshops, agricultural facilities, construction sites and commercial premises.

For applications requiring lower heating output, the Master B-2PTC electric heater offers an alternative. The Master B 5 EPB, on the other hand, provides up to 5 kW of heating power and explicitly requires a suitable 400 V three-phase connection.

Important Operating and Safety Information

Warning: 400 V equipment! Operation requires a suitable, properly protected 400 V three-phase power supply. Connection to a standard 230 V household socket is not possible. Always follow the manufacturer's safety instructions and maintain the required minimum clearances during installation, positioning and operation.

The Master B 5 EPB 5 kW electric heater is a practical heating solution for professional applications requiring portable electric heating, high airflow performance and a suitable three-phase electrical connection.

Safety instructions

IMPORTANT: Read and understand this operational manual prior to assembling, starting up or conducting maintenance on this heater. Using the heater incorrectly can cause serious or fatal injuries. Keep this manual for further reference.

IMPORTANT: This heater is not suitable for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or with lack of experience or knowledge unless supervised by a person responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to make sure they do not play with the heater.

IMPORTANT: In order to prevent any risk, even if disconnection from the power supply mains is stated, all cleaning, maintenance and repair operations requiring access to dangerous parts (e.g. replacing the damaged power supply cable), must be carried out by the manufacturer, its technical support centre, a person with similar qualification.

IMPORTANT: Comply with all local legislation and current regulations when using the heater.

1.1. Heaters used near tarpaulins, curtains or other similar covering materials must be a safe distance from them. It is advised to use fire-proof covering material.

1.2. Keep the heater a safe distance from humidity, water and atmospheric agents to prevent serious damage to the heater.

1.3. Keep the hot parts of the heater a suitable distance from inflammable or thermolabile materials (including the power supply cable).

1.4. Never move, handle or conduct maintenance on the heater when it is hot, connected to the mains or in operation.

1.5. Avoid fire hazards by placing the hot or functioning heater on a steady level surface.

1.6. Keep animals at a safe distance from the heater.

1.7. Turn on the heater only with a current that has the voltage and frequency values specified on the heater's identification plate.

1.8. Make sure the heater is only connected to suitable mains with a differential switch and suitable earthing.

1.9. If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the support centre to prevent any risk.

1.10. Disconnect the heater from the mains power supply when not in use.

1.11. Always disconnect the heater from the mains if temporarily left in unsafe conditions and make sure it cannot be used.

1.12. Never block, not even partially, the heater's air vent or the air outlet.

1.13. Avoid any kind of ducting, either at the air inlet or outlet.

1.14. Do not cover the heater while in operation, it might overheat.

1.15. Ask the support centre to check that the heater is working properly at least once a year and/or as required.
