The IR-A shortwave heaters signed by MO-EL offer maximum effectiveness from the first use. Without front glass barriers, they maximize yield and convert almost all of the electricity into pure heat. Light and easy to install, they offer low operating costs and instant functionality. They only allow the heat in the direction in which you want to heat. Protected against water and dust, they are also safe from the outside.

What are infrared radiant heaters?

Infrared radiant heaters generate heat very similar to the sun. Infrared light is not visible because it is outside the visible spectrum. This invisible light is absorbed by our skin, clothing and other objects. This is how things heat up around an infrared radiant heater. In direct sunlight, it is warmer than in the shade, because the shade blocks a lot of light. Like our natural large outside heating, infrared heaters in your house only heat areas directly in front of it. It is difficult to make generalizations about infrared radiators because there are so many different specifications. Infrared heaters can be operated with electricity, natural gas or propane. Different heaters have different maximum power levels, different controls and different designs. However, there are some advantages that generally apply to all infrared radiators. In the cold winter months, they are becoming increasingly popular for heating homes and workplaces, and it's definitely a worth considering heating option.

Infrared short-wave

The most widespread, produced by halogen lamps that can warm up quickly. Halogen elements develop temperatures up to 1200 ° C. They are among the electrical industrial heaters with a lower purchase price, which is why they are the most widely used. They make it possible to impart excellent thermal properties at the expense of optical comfort. In fact, short-wave infrared has a very pronounced light emission that can be easily reflected by bright objects. Infrared space heaters emit rays that are absorbed by other objects, which gently increases the ambient temperature of the heaters. They work differently from the other types of heaters you are considering for your home or office. Infrared heaters work immediately.

Infrared heating lamps, the fast and efficient heat source

In order to live comfortably, the room temperature must be pleasant. Think, for example, of a transition phase between one season and another, or particularly cold summer days. Sometimes it may be necessary to quickly heat a bathroom. Infrared heating lamps are perfectly suitable for these areas of application. The heat develops immediately after the practical device is switched on. Infrared heaters are flexible and can be used universally. As an all-round heater, the infrared heating lamp can be used anywhere, depending on the version, and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. If you use a modern infrared heating lamp, you will soon no longer want to do without the fast heat source!

The advantages of an infrared heating lamp

Energy-efficient, economically advantageous and profitable. Conventional heaters are undoubtedly heating up. However, all heating methods require preheating and consequently incur costs. This is particularly noticeable if you only want a warm environment for a short time. The infrared heating lamp is only switched on when electricity heat is required. The heating does not require a preheating stage. The environment is immediately hot, it couldn't be more profitable. Save energy costs, time and nerves with an energy-efficient infrared heating lamp where you quickly want a warm environment! Most heaters work by convection, gradually warming up the ambient air and allowing it to circulate until it flows through the entire room. However, infrared heaters give off a precise heat beam that warms you directly by expelling a steady stream of heat particles. With Infrafilter heaters, you don't have to wait to warm up like ordinary heaters do. They heat up quickly with fast-acting heat rays that expel the cold. They're also great when you're sitting on the couch or at your desk because their warmth is on you, not the entire room.

Quiet, gentle and healthy

Infrared space heaters work noiselessly because they do not use a fan - they only emit light! They are ideal for noise-sensitive environments such as bedrooms. Hot coils are wound over the heat source so that the heat is transferred evenly. The heat is reflected by a polished metal and extends over several meters. This creates a gentle, pleasant source of heat. Infrared emitters are also "healthier" than other emitters because they reduce neither the air humidity nor the oxygen content in the room. Other heaters can dry out sinuses and skin and cause static electricity. Because these heaters generate the same heat as the sun, you can enjoy the benefits of natural sunlight without the dangerous effects of UV radiation. The infrared heat even promotes healthier blood circulation.

Inexpensive and environmentally friendly

Infrared heaters do not add any pollutants to your room. They work without carbon combustion, without toxic by-products, without open flames and without fuel lines. Essentially, infrared emitters don't add anything to the air and they don't take anything from the air. Since they only heat certain areas and objects, do not waste energy to heat an entire room. It is also not necessary to preheat a room as these heaters work immediately. Some only consume 300 watts of electricity and almost 100 percent of the heat generated is dissipated, so you can get super efficient heating at very low cost.

Minimal maintenance

The maintenance effort for infrared heaters is extremely low. Since there are no moving parts, no engine and no air filters need to be replaced or lubricated. You only need to clean the reflectors regularly so that your device works properly. Infrared heaters are also very stylish! Mo-EL offers many infrared heaters with a furniture-like wooden surface that matches most decors. Heaters are usually an eyesore, but it's possible to find an infrared heater that you can proudly display. Many are also very compact and portable.

The coils of infrared heaters get extremely hot, so they can be dangerous near children and pets. However, as the use of infrared heaters at home increases, companies are starting to manufacture much safer devices. Some infrared heaters are housed in handy cabinets and dissipate the heat via a fan. More traditional models now often have an automatic shutdown and an emergency toggle switch for added safety.

Infrared heaters use less energy

Therefore, this may be a cheaper and more energy efficient option, especially if you don't need to heat an entire room for an extended period of time.

Are infrared heaters for you?

Infrared heaters have many cost and health benefits. It offers more pleasant warmth because it does not heat the air and is cheap and efficient to use. Thanks to the new safety functions, many models can also be used safely in homes with children or pets. If you want to heat a certain area quickly, infrared room heaters are just the thing for you!
