The VKS-ALU 55, automatic closure flap by CasaFan is a highly developed solution to prevent cold air ingress during fan standstill and to avoid the intrusion of dirt, birds, and larger insects. This automatic closure flap opens automatically through the airflow of the fan and closes thanks to gravity. With a nominal diameter of 550 mm, it is particularly suitable for applications requiring high airflow speeds.

The VKS-ALU series is characterized by its high-quality construction from anodized aluminum, which is not only aesthetically pleasing but also guarantees a long lifespan. The sealing edge ensures a quiet and vibration-damping closing process, while UV resistance and weather resistance make it suitable for outdoor use.

For easy installation, the VKS-ALU 55 can be mounted both horizontally and diagonally. Installation is straightforward with the screws and anchors included in the delivery. This closure flap is stable up to a maximum airflow speed of 15 m/s.

Compared to the VKS-ALU 20, automatic closure flap with a nominal diameter of 200 mm, the VKS-ALU 55 offers a larger opening suitable for more extensive applications. The various variants of the VKS-ALU series include nominal diameters from 250 mm to 700 mm, with each variant optimized for specific requirements.
