ATTENTION This dehumidifier must not be used in rooms under the following conditions:

  • potentially explosive atmosphere
  • extremely polluted atmosphere
  • high concentration of solvents
  • extremely high dust content

Always connect the appliance earthed: Only operate the appliance with a earthing-contact plug and an earthed socket. The earthing-contact plug is an essential safety feature that helps prevent a risk of fire or electric shock.

Protect the power cable from damage: Never operate an appliance with a damaged power cable, as this can lead to fire or electric shock. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced with a cable of the same type and the same amperage.

Extension cables: Extension cables must be earthed and be able to supply the appropriate voltage to the appliance.

Handle the appliance with care: Do not drop the dehumidifier; do not throw it and do not open it by force. Rough handling can damage the components or the cables and cause hazards.

Operate the appliance on a stable surface: Only operate the appliance on a stable, level surface, for example on the floor or a sturdy table, so that the dehumidifier cannot fall and cause injury.

Keep the appliance away from water: Never operate the appliance in running or standing water - risk of injury from electric shock! Do not store or operate the appliance outdoors. If electrical cables or components become wet, dry them thoroughly before using the appliance. If in doubt, please do not switch on the dehumidifier. Please contact an authorised dealer or a recognised workshop.

Keep air inlets clear: Do not place the dehumidifier too close to curtains, walls or other places that could obstruct the air inlet. This can lead to overheating of the appliance and a risk of fire or electric shock.

Keep the filter clean: Always use a clean air filter. Prevent any material from clogging the filter. This can lead to overheating of the dehumidifier. Never use the appliance without a filter. Check and clean the filter if necessary, always before you switch on the dehumidifier. Prevent oil, grease or other contaminants from entering the appliance.

Keep electrical components dry: Never let water get into the electrical components of the dehumidifier. If electrical cables or components become wet for any reason, dry them thoroughly before using the appliance. If in doubt, please do not switch on the dehumidifier. Please contact an authorised dealer or a recognised workshop.

The operator must make the operating instructions available to the user and ensure that the user understands the contents.

  • The air inlets and outlets must not be covered while the appliance is in operation.
  • The dehumidifier must be switched off before any transport. Unplug the mains plug from the socket and empty the water container.
  • During transport, the appliance must be secured on a firm surface so that it does not roll away.
  • Always transport the dehumidifier upright.
  • This dehumidifier is only suitable for drying air.
  • If the appliance is stored or transported in a horizontal position for several minutes, it must then be set up upright for at least 30 minutes before commissioning. This ensures that the oil can flow back into the compressor and the compressor is not damaged.

6. Operating instructions ATTENTION

  • Only operate the dehumidifier in an upright position.
  • Connect the appliance to a standard socket with appropriate voltage and current.
  • If the appliance switches off for any reason, wait five minutes before switching it on again. This avoids damage to the compressor.
  • Check daily that the dehumidifier is working properly.
  • Protect floor surfaces from any spilled or leaking water.

Attention: Unplug the mains plug before working on the appliance.
