Operation is easy via either the clear touch panel on top of the device or flexibly through the app. Two selectable fan speeds and automatic operating modes allow adaptation to your specific room conditions.
Additionally, the device supports indoor laundry drying. By continuously removing moisture, drying times for clothes indoors are significantly reduced. Smooth-running casters and side handles facilitate easy transport between different rooms.

What is Required for Operation?
The Comedes Demecto 16 eco WiFi is ready to use out of the box. The package includes the integrated 3.2-liter water tank, a washable dust filter, and the power cord. You do not need to purchase additional accessories for standard operation.
Depending on your intended use, however, we recommend the following additions:
- Smart Home Control: A smartphone and a local 2.4 GHz WiFi network are required for remote control via the app.
- Simple Continuous Operation (Hose): If you want the condensate to drain continuously, you will need a simple drainage hose. Condensate flows purely via gravity.
- Continuous Operation with Height Difference (Comedes Pump Set): If no lower-level floor drain is available or if condensate needs to be pumped upwards (e.g., from the basement into a sink), an external condensate pump such as the Comedes Pump Set (incl. 3 m hose and check valve) is required.

Is a smartphone or WiFi strictly required for operation?
No. All basic functions can also be set directly using the touch panel on top of the device. App control via WiFi is an optional convenience feature.
Does the device shut off automatically when the water tank is full?
Yes, the dehumidifier features an automatic shut-off function when the 3.2-liter water tank is full to prevent condensate overflow.
Is continuous operation possible without emptying the tank?
Yes. Condensate can be drained continuously via the built-in hose connection, eliminating the need for manual emptying.
